Dear Friends,
Serving in the Connecticut House of Representatives as your State Representative is an honor and a privilege that I take very seriously. Public service is in my blood.
When I was growing up, my mother and father always told me that I must work to leave the world better off than when I entered it. I strive to do so every day. Now that I have children, we are passing on this value to them with a dinnertime ritual of our own. Before we eat, we share with each other something we are thankful for and something that we have done for others that day.
Over the past six years, we have worked together to move our towns and our state forward. We have increased education funding to our towns. We have passed legislation to improve our environment. We have passed new jobs legislation with short term, medium term and long term implications. We have passed legislation to encourage regional cooperation between towns to save money and so much more.
My overarching goal in Hartford is to work hard and serve you with integrity and vision. My vision is an efficient, transparent and accountable government that serves the needs of its people. I humbly ask for your vote and your support so that I can continue to work hard to reach these goals.
